We currently have an opportunity for a Project Supervisor at our Memphis, TN facility. Responsibilities:The Project Supervisor will be responsible for all areas of project management, engineering and provide day-to-day support for the Operations and Maintenance departments, including the design, development, execution and commissioning of both capital and non-capital projects. This will involve: development, verification and maintenance of drawings, equipment evaluation and selection, process design and troubleshooting, electrical power and control systems design and integration, preparation of comprehensive bid packages, and supervision of contractors. Also included is the design of new and retrofits to existing systems to optimize plant safety, production efficiency, and product quality. The Project Supervisor must possess effective technical, communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities to accomplish Company goals and objectives to help develop and implement strategies for continued growth and improvement. All tasks must be completed safely and in a manner that optimizes performance while ensuring product quality specifications and food safety requirements are being met.The relevance and importance of this individual's activities in contributing to Quality and Safety is through application of sound engineering practices and strict adherence to the engineering codes of ethics, applicable safety codes, building and construction codes, and any other regulations and ordinances that may be applicable in carrying out the practice of engineering within the facility. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employee groups or managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Must be able to analyze processes, drawings and data, and apply logic to solve complex problems. Should be able to demonstrate good judgement and sound decision-making skills to be able to set priorities, implement action plans and meet timelines.Must be able to demonstrate a general knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems, financial reporting, health & safety legislation and food safety programs. Must have excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, e-mail, web etc.).
