BUT00633 ? LOCATION FSQR MANAGERPosition Purpose & SummaryResponsible for the planning, development and maintenance of
all FSQR systems in a location with Medium FSQR Complexity and Risk, including:
developing, implementing, and training location employees on FSQR policies,
continuous improvement of FSQR processes and systems, shaping the location?s quality
culture and leading talent management practices.
People/resource/budget management: Lead talent management of employees
in FSQR, accountable for selection, training, development performance
management and engagement of direct/indirect reports, actively participates in
development of FSQR initiatives, etc. Maintain and monitor the departmental
?20% ??Plan, coordinate
and ensure compliance of regulations/policies: ultimate accountability
for all FSQR compliance the facility, analyze, review, interpret FSQR policies,
regulations, implements predefined customer and supplier standards, monitor
regulatory activities, monitor sanitation activities, ensures plant compliance.
food safety, quality and regulatory culture/reputation: interface with manager
within CPG and act as liaison between customer and operations to ensure
standard/expectations are met, build and develop effective engaged FSQR
workforce, lead implementation of BU FSQR strategy/tactical plans.
implement and assess FSMS process/systems: plans and directs all FSQR programs
and management of change, implements product specification systems, drives
continuous improvement, provides input to location leaders related to the
prevention activities and issue resolution: act as customer interface, manage
FSQR audits, respond to customer questions/complaints, proactively identify
risks, take action to prevent FSQR issues across location.??

Must have a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in food manufacturing.?
Ability to rethink and improve business for continued growth?
Ability to effectively prioritize and ensure execution of Food Safety, Quality and business initiatives?
Superior written and verbal communication skills?
Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office software (MS Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel)Preferred Qualifications?
Technical/Associate Degree – Minimum 3 years? experience in Technical Services, i.e., Quality, Food Safety, Auditing, etc.; or Bachelor?s degree in Animal Science, Food Science, Biological Sciences or related field preferred. – Minimum 3 years? experience in Technical Services, i.e., Quality, Food Safety, Auditing, etc.?
Knowledge of BRC and FSSC22000, GFSI certification.?
Knowledge of Cargill Policies & Standards – Applies CFSRA policy & standards to enhance food safety & quality.?
Risk Assessment – Conducts and communicates the results of a scientific evaluation of the known or potential adverse health effects resulting from human or animal exposure to food borne hazards.?
Knowledge of Quality Standards & Quality Tools – Applies knowledge of quality standards and tools to enhance food safety and quality.? Plant Manufacturing Knowledge – Demonstrates practical knowledge of manufacturing processes and operations.?
Supplier Quality Assurance – Identifies and addresses supplier quality issues.?
Working knowledge of Quality Systems Management.Other relevant information to the position?
This position shall have the responsibility to report problems with the food safety management system to identified person(s). This position has the responsibility and authority to initiate and record actions.??
Acquire and maintain knowledge of applicable ISO (FSSC22000) Standards and BRC Standards.? Acquire and maintain knowledge of HACCP/GMP/OPRP/PRP policies and requirements to complete all monitoring and/or verifications tasks as outlined in Food Safety Management System and ensure that corrections and corrective actions, if needed, are taken per the Food Safety Management System.? Must have flexible hours and be willing to work all shifts, including weekends.?
