YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Quality Control Inspector, are to:
Sample and inspect incoming raw materials, components and contract manufactured/buyout finished goods following appropriate specifications, QC Inspection procedures and methods, fully documenting findings in a professional manner for possible communication to outside departments;
Make disposition on incoming raw materials, components and contract manufactured goods, based on the above information;
Establish and maintain Packaging Standards Library for use in inspection activities;
Follow safety procedures while involved in Inspection activities;
Perform non-routine tasks of reviewing inventory of rejected or quarantined materials, performing material-to-material transfers and sampling materials for re-assay or for sample requests made by other departments;
Follow DEA procedures in transporting and sampling raw materials;
Work in conjunction with the QCI Supervisor without direct supervision at the facility.

Associates Degree or equivalent level of Pharmaceutical experience. A scientific background is preferred, including college math and chemistry/biology;
The Incumbent should possess skills in:
Following written and verbal instructions accurately;
Metrology knowledge (use of calipers, micrometers);
Working independently on daily priorities;
Writing draft procedures for review by the QCI Supervisor;
Following cGMP guidelines;
Making suggestions to create more efficient operations to the QCI Supervisor;
Making appropriate decisions within the bounds of the position based on procedures and policies.
Good interpersonal skills in working in a team environment;
Able to learn and operate a powered fork truck;
Bayer competencies for this position include: Manages Complexity, Plans and Aligns, Drives Results, Collaborates.
Three (3) to Five (5) years' experience in pharmaceutical goods/QC Inspection.
