?BASIC?FUNCTION:Reporting to the QA/QC Manager, the QC Technician is responsible for the testing of Raw Material, In-Process, Finished Product and Stability.?RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform routine testing and analysis of finished product, bulk in process, raw material and stability samples in accordance with test methods (USP, NF, EP, JP, FCC, etc.) and maintain accurate written records of analysisPerform routine maintenance, cleaning and calibration of equipment used in the analytical labsAssist in maintenance of the chemical and consumable material inventory necessary to perform routine testing and analysisProvide constructive input into the review, change and update of laboratory documents such as SOPs, test methods and test recordsPerform analytical peer review of documents as neededSupport initial and on-going product development projects within the facilityComply with all safety standards and keep lab space clean and organized??REQUIRED SKILLS/COMPETENCIESMotivated self-starter who can work independently, yet function and participate as part of a teamAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to travel as needed (=25%)?EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUNDB.A./B.S. in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering or Life Sciences preferred3-5 years of experience in Quality, Laboratory, Clinical or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing role requiredStrong Wet Chemistry (Titrations, pH, auto-titrations,Instrumental experience (HPLC and GC) beneficial but not requiredGeneral knowledge of laboratory and chemical safety/hygiene practicesExperience with Microsoft OfficeExperience with SAP preferred?Apply for this job.
