Quality Assurance Analyst
CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Information Technology group. We are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst (Level 3). This position upholds and continually improves CHS?s IT Quality Assurance and Testing standards and processes. This position validates applications and systems in support of CHS business operations and ensures QA and testing activities and deliverables are completed on-time and on-budget. This position leverages exposure to test automation and help implement the framework across projects. This role also assists the QA Manager with supervising the QA team. You will:Collaborate with the Business Analyst and project team members to review and clarify project scope and requirementsDefine and document the test approach/strategy for the project/sprintReview test approach/strategy drafted by other QA team membersAuthor the Test Suite – test scenarios and test cases traceable to requirements in order to validate the application or customer deliverablesConduct Test Suite reviews with Business Analysts, Developers and project team membersPrepare test data and test environment for both manual and automated test casesTest execution of business applications, online applications, document processing capability, and reporting deliverablesValidate data and reports using SQL and other toolsCreate Automation test scriptsContribute and improve test automation frameworkSecure SQL scripts, Automation scripts and other test artifacts in Source ControlReport QA metrics and testing status to project teamIdentify, document and track issues found during testingCoordinate with developers and project team members to triage and resolve issuesEscalate risks that will directly impact project timelines and deliverables to the project teamAssist in deployment verification of applications or customer deliverablesParticipate and be the QA advocate in project team meetingsUpdate status of assigned project tasks and time reporting dutiesParticipate and occasionally lead discussions in team meetingsWork closely with QA Manager on prioritization of tasksLead and supervise other QA team membersTraining and mentoring of other QA team members in QA and Testing standards, applications and business processesAssists QA Manager in performance management tasksEnsure quality and on-time delivery in all assigned workBasic Qualifications: (required)Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science or related field5 or more years of software testing experience, including analysis of requirements, design and reporting.Preferred Qualifications: (desired)QA or Testing Professional Certification such as CAST, CSTE, CMSTExperience in SAP or other ERP solutions in a development, deployment or support capacity.Experience creating executive summaries for communication at all levels8 or more years of experience in software QA and testing5 or more years in implementing test automation1 or more years of experience leading and supervising QA team membersApply for this job.
