Decatur, ILWild Flavors and Specialty IngredientsThis is a full time, exempt positionPosition Summary: As a Quality Assurance Representative for the Specialty Ingredients Platform within WFSI you will be the liaison between customers, manufacturing sites, warehouses, and internal departments on all relevant quality related matters.
Job Scope: Provide global quality support for WFSI products.Handle incoming quality requests from customers, end users, and sales managers ? aiming towards a high level of customer satisfaction.
Liaison between customers and manufacturing sites, warehouse and internal departments on all relevant quality related matters. Document any customer complaints and then work with Business Managers, General Managers, Research, Operations, Legal and Regulatory to take required course of action, following up to ensure full resolution of the complaint ? including final letter to customer.Create and manage document database including but not limited to: SDS, Tech Data Sheets, customer statement and datasheetsIdentify and manage risks in cooperation with plant quality department as well as food and feed safety managers by developing risks assessments.Plan, organize and coordinate customer audits, providing involved parties with a schedule and agenda after obtaining approvals from all involved parties Communicate with customer base on all facets of quality details including product specifications, analytical details, questionnaires, applications and product quality issues.Work with regulatory as well as food and feed safety to ensure that you are up to date on the most recent changes in policy.
Provide technical training to division sales and management team.Assist business and sales managers with relevant projects where necessary. Education Requirement:
Bachelor?s Degree in a Science discipline preferred Key Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of chemistry, food science, quality control or similar fieldsAbility to understand technical properties and functionality of ingredient portfolioStrong organizational skillsExcellent written and communication skills along with developed interpersonal techniquesWork independently and without supervision – effectively plan, organize and execute own activitiesPosition requires the ability to hear and speak clearly over the phone and in person; read and comprehend technical information; sitting and standing for prolonged periods of timeTravel:
