Come join us on our journey to create solutions for a sustainable future Quality Assurance Specialist- (1805319) Parma, ID Where the Chemistry Happens We are seeking a professional like you to ensure and maintain the evaluation of quality factors and testing parameters of Stock and Commercial seed lots to assess seed quality and manage risk associated with the sale of those seed lots. Optimize the seed lot availability while ensuring that both product liability and seed loss are minimized to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and maintain brand image. Formula for Success: Evaluate, analyze and interpret global and local quality data in order to manage risk associated with sale of those seed lots. Provide Advice for payment of seed lots to production after quality evaluation in order to facilitate grower payments in a timely and equitable manner. Communicate possible risks associated with the sale of seed lots to Supply chain specialist and crop sales manager to minimize liability. Analyze relevant quality data in order to approve proposed seed lot blends. Select third party QC test companies and inform them of Bayer Seeds Pvt. ltd priorities and to ensure the timely result availability of outsourced test. Advice on the quality improvement actions like quality processing, disinfection or blending to maximize inventory availability. Ensure the resampling of required lots is completed in timely manner to make the reliable quality data available for release of lots and making availability review. Coordinate for the marker standardization of new hybrids Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture/Horticulture or related field. Five years? experience in the seed business, especially in a seed quality assurance area. Knowledge of seed health, seed physiology, production and operational techniques used within the company. Good people management skills. Strong analytical skills. Pro-active decision-making. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. English language necessary. Should possess the following competencies: Analyzing, Performance, and Organizing.
