Alpharetta, GAGolden Peanut and Tree Nuts Processing and DistributionThis is a salary, non-exempt position Position SummaryThis position assists the Quality Control department with various duties.
Main responsibilities include responding to customer requests and requesting information from suppliers.
Coordinate approvals of new itemsUpdate specifications in TraceGains as necessarySend product documentation to customers as requestedCoordinate completion and submission of supplier questionnairesRequest Supplier COAs for product receivedReview COAs and/or internal lab results for compliance to specificationsWork with Traders to identify which SCI products (if any) meet customer specificationsReview and document quality of incoming samplesEnter new complaints in the complaint tracking systemInvestigate, document, and respond to product quality complaintsCommunicate with suppliers to address any claims/complaints received.
Follow up until sufficient response/corrective action is completeWork with Quality Team members to coordinate responses to customer requests, including: sending out product documentation and copies of SCI?s certifications, following up on various product-related questions, and completing forms & questionnaires.Send out COAs to specified customer groups.
If a COA is not available, work with the supplier to get the necessary documents/lab reports in order to create it Job Requirements
Minimum Associates Degree in physical sciences or equivalent related work experienceAbility to work effectively in a team environment.Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.This position offers a complete benefit package, including 401K/ESOP, pension, health, life, vision, and dental insurance.
