Houston, TXWhere the Chemistry HappensWe are seeking a professional like you to become part of the Quality Management Team for the Global Hygiene Business Unit. In this role, you will ensure effective handling of customer complaints, manage customer requests regarding safety and quality, and head product stewardship efforts globally. Hygiene is a fast-moving and exciting consumer goods industry where ensuring quality to protect the customer is paramount ? your contribution to the Quality Management Team will enhance our reputation and ensure that our products and services drive sustainable growth.Formula for Success By taking on and driving quality topics forward through collaboration, you will instill the spirit in the organization that Quality Drives ResultsSuccessfully engaging across the organization, you will collaborate with cross-functional colleagues including Business Unit, Operating Division, R&D, Quality, EHS, Regulatory, and Legal on a variety of projects and initiatives.Ensuring an effective and efficient process for handling customer complaints, you will drive continuous improvement through identifying and reporting weaknesses and through ensuring development and implementation of corrective actions.Driving strategic decisions for the business, you will strategically identify emerging EHS issues and opportunities, assess product and market risks, and proactively develop risk management measures and product strategies for the assigned portfolio.Leveraging your educational and professional background in Chemistry and knowledge of related global product regulations (ex. REACH), you will translate regulatory/technical information clearly and concisely to business leadership.As a subject matter expert, you will act as the main contact regarding regulatory questions pertaining to Superabsorbent polymers or raw materials used in the production process.Act as a liaison, you will interface with the BASF expert center for Regulatory and Toxicology.Your organizational skills and chemical knowledge will be key as you maintain product data such as composition, safety information, and physical/chemical properties.Create Your Own Chemistry: What We Offer YouAdding value to our customers begins with adding value to you.
