This role willprovide technical support for registered products in support of Sales andMarketing efforts and also support the Global Herbicide Research Team through opencommunication and collaboration. Successful candidates must lead projects asfield project coordinator (FPC), and communicate results to support bothproject development and sales.Essential Duties &Responsibilities: Conductand coordinate high quality trials, contributing to the biological profilingand label development of herbicides, GMO traits, and adjacent technologyContributeto or lead project planning and defining experimental objectives; ensuringtrial implementation; generating or acquiring data and informationSummarizetrial data and provide recommendations, identify development opportunities forproduct label expansion or further researchWorkwith team members, Technical Product Leads and other stakeholders on trialdesign and implementationProvidetechnical support and training; coordinate demonstration trials fortraining/education for internal and external persons, participate in varioussite tours for internal and external groupsProvidetechnical data and information from lab, greenhouse, and field trials insupport of special local, state, regional, and national labeling actionsTravelrequirements to support R&Dactivities 10-15% Skills:Education &Experience: Ph.D. degree, or M.S. degree with commensurateexperience a minimum of 5 years in weed sciencePosition requires substantial crop protectiongreenhouse and lab research experience, with a preferred focus in weedresistance management and/or auxin herbicide off-target movementApplied field research experience is also preferredAdditional Knowledge,Skills, Traits & Abilities: Experience conductingweed control trials to evaluate herbicides with respect to efficacy, croptolerance, soil behaviour, row crop agronomy particularly cereals, and other relatedexperimental techniques.
