Receptionist

SUMMARY:  Performs general receptionist and secretarial functions as needed by the execution of these essential duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Answers phone, directs calls and takes messages. Greets and announces visitors.  Routes any mail and packages Creates letters, memos, spreadsheets, etc. as needed. Performs general office duties including but not limited to: mass mailings, typing, copying, filing, and faxing. Maintains office supply inventory. Reliable and regular attendance is expected. Other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.  QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:  High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two years experience in a business environment. OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Ability to handle multiple incoming phone calls. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communications skills.  PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and talk or hear.  The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit.  The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. WORK ENVIRONMENT:  The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
