ReceptionistBryan, TX Description/Job Summary EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: High school graduate or equivalent.JOB REQUIREMENTS: 2 of more years of office experience, preferably including some receptionist work.JOB FUNCTIONS: Operates a switchboard to route incoming calls and place outgoing callsGreets vendors, customers, job applicants and other visitors, and arranges for transportation services, when needed.Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the office field.Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.Assists staff at the administrative level in a variety of projects including but not limited to mail preparation.Takes accurate messages for employees and delivers them in a timely manner via callbacks or email.Reports phone system trouble calls and coordinates repair service with user and outside or in-bank service personnel.Assists staff with special projects as assigned.PREFERRED SKILLS: Must be mature, thoughtful, articulate and have the confidence to interact one-on-one with faculty, staff, and/or intermediaries when necessary.Must exhibit high degree of discretion as relates to safeguarding confidential information.Ability to thrive in a high paced, relatively unstructured environment without much supervision.
