In addition, Zoetis will never ask candidates to make any type of personal financial investment related to gaining employment with Zoetis.POSITION SUMMARY This position is the primary representative for all Zoetis Poultry products in poultry accounts in the North Central region ( Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Northern Kentucky). The position is responsible for achieving annual gross revenue and margin targets within budgeted expense parameters. This position is focused on and responsible for the management of new business growth and customer retention in assigned accounts within the region.
Promotes and supports sales of all Zoetis products and services, including Medicated Feed Additives, Biologicals, Inovoject Device systems, KL automation equipment and Food safety products Manages corporate and complex level communication to customers regarding Zoetis poultry products and services. Develops account plans for assigned accounts and works as a team member on assigned account plans lead by teammates. Coordinates all Zoetis activities within assigned accounts. Maintains working knowledge of customer locations in order to maximize business opportunities. Initiates and maintains regular communication of customer requirements with internal Zoetis groups including Customer Service, Veterinary Services, Marketing, and product support teams. Continues to build and develop industry network to improve understanding of customer strategy and gain early awareness and involvement when applicable.
Prepares reports that keep management and team members informed of industry news, customer news, sales objectives, accomplishments, and competitive information Builds customer loyalty to Zoetis poultry products and services by developing relationships with key account decision makers and influencers. Provides feedback to assist in the development of marketing plans. Utilize Customer Relationship Management Tool(CRM) to manage accounts, contacts and business.
Stays abreast of changes and future needs of assigned accounts and forecast on a monthly basis. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Four year degree in Agricultural life science or agribusiness preferred. Three or more years in the Poultry Industry with working knowledge of live production. TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Highly developed interpersonal skills Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks PC literate with the proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (excel, word, PowerPoint, project software) Excellent attention to detail Promotes teamwork and cooperation
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Ability to travel overnight up to 50% of the time..
