With headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri, Bunge North America and its subsidiaries operate grain elevators, oilseed processing plants, edible oil refineries and packaging facilities, and corn, wheat and rice mills in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.Overview:Lead Bunges efforts to profitably grow with major regional chains in the assigned region by working closely with your teammates (Regional Sales Directors and Inside Sales Coordinators) to prospect, target, and develop new value added customer opportunities.Position to be located in Phoenix, AZ, Los Angeles, CA or Denver, CO.Essential Functions:Be a catalyst for the change required to meet Bunges strategic objectives in the foodservice marketWork as a team with the Regional Sales Director (RSD) and Inside Sales coordinator (ISC) to continually prospect and develop new opportunities to grow Bunges market share through sales to multi-unit chain customersWork with the RSD to target and sell regional multi-unit chain customers to drive and secure distribution in the assigned regionSupport the existing business by selling Bunge and distributor premium brands to regional multi-unit chain customersDevelop new business of Bunge brands with scaled operators / regional chains (Technomic 101-900) in accordance with our distribution strategiesDevelop relationships with the customers key regional leaders in procurement, marketing and product development at multi-unit regional operatorsDrive customer focus by being the voice of your customers within the broader Bunge organizationPerform both prospecting and account management tasks such as customer insight gathering, price intelligence, forecasting, customer development planning, customer service delivery, and contract / price management among othersKey performance IndicatorsNew accounts openedNew product/slot placementsVolume and total contribution margin growthValue added volume and contribution margin growthRegional market share of key customers and branded marketT&E budgetForecast accuracyCompliance to key business processes and controlsSkill/Experience Requirements:Bachelors degree in Business or related field preferred; 4-8 years of foodservice sales experience requiredExcellent written and verbal communication skills with customers, senior management, peers, and subordinatesExperience operating in a cross functional organizationExperience driving value added sales through solution selling processesStrong customer knowledge and relationships across the assigned regionExperience managing a portfolio of products ranging from basic staple commodities to specialty value-addedStrong proficiency in office productivity and CRM softwareExcellent organizational and teamwork skillsAbility to travel 50%Bunge is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
