Regional Industry Leader – Grain Processing

We leverage our cutting edge protein engineering and production expertise with worldwide manufacturing capability to develop sustainable solutions for the emerging biobased economy. We are seeking a Regional Industry Leader for our North America Grain Processing business. This position will be responsible for delivering the Grain Processing Strategy for the region, driving Grain Processing initiatives in the region and managing Grain Processing operational processes across functions in the region. Responsibilities in this position will include, but are not limited to: ?Drive implementation of the Grain Processing strategy in the region to achieve revenue and profit goals (e.g. with sales, technical service, applications and key accounts)?Identify and define the key market trends in the region?Represent the North America region in the development of the industry strategy?Provide budget and staffing recommendations to translate the Global Grain Processing strategy into regional initiatives?Drive the execution, implementation and measurement of Grain Processing initiatives?Define new product opportunities and champion product development projects from concept to launch?Determine new product propositions and positions for the region's customers?Working with Marketing Communications and the Product Manager, lead New Product launches to ensure successful introductions to the market with appropriate content creation and plan?Ensure regional sales, applications, marketing communications and regulatory teams are aligned with Grain Processing specific initiatives and priorities in the region by providing direction and guidance on priorities and plans.?Define value propositions, positioning and target pricing for North America region?Responsible for the business management review process as well as the demand review for the business through timely delivery of supporting materials in the demand review and regional business review process and active participation in each step of the process within the region?Responsible for the creation and implementation of new product launch plans ensuring an accurate reflection of the new product initiatives in the budgeting cycle?Accountable for pricing approvalsQualifications:?Background in science or engineering, preferably: Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering or Food Science?MBA with a focus on Marketing preferred?5-8 years marketing experience in a business to business environment (sales experience is a plus)?Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate others through influence?Excellent business acumen with the ability to translate opportunities into business cases?Willingness to travel up to 30% of the timeApply for this job.
