Regional MPS Implementation Specialist – #01EKJ

Monsanto???s North America Row Crops Supply Chain organization is looking for a Regional Production System Implementation Specialist to provide technical expertise for Monsanto Production System (MPS) Implementation at sites. The candidate will be part of MPS implementation team working closely with site leads, regional leadership and Production CoE, Change Management team, and HR team.Technical (Production):Develop & teach robust understanding of MPS implementation methodology, lean content and change management approach to successfully implement MPS at sitesReview opportunity hypotheses, findings and analyses of site implementation teams during MPS ImplementationGuide teams to size the value improvements and prioritize implementationCoach / guide the team to ensure the recommendations and actions improve value for the site and Monsanto (in alignment with Strive for Five goals and AM2020 targets) and can be implemented sustainablyCoordinate across Production CoE MPS Leads and Regional MPS implementation leads for standard implementation of MPS across sites and regionsLead best practices sharing across sites during implementationUpdate the MPS playbook after site implementation in collaboration with Production CoE and other MPS Implementation LeadsAct as an SME after the initial MPS implementation and facilitate the continuous improvement journeyProject Leadership during MPS Implementation Wave:Support MPS implementation at selected sites in coordination with regional and local site staffReview project progress and challenge teams to develop action plans to close gaps to plan e.g. timelines, practice maturity progression, financial targets, adoption and sustainability of improvementsMaintain regular touch points with site and regional leadership, and the CoEMeasure and report benefits (operational and financial results) from site implementationDevelop Executive Summary of project progress and benefits deliveredManaging Change:Ensure change management requirements are being addressed and coordinate change efforts to implement and sustain improvementEnsure adequate and timely communication at sitesDeliver trainings, as requiredCoach site leads, areas leads on the MPS ImplementationExpectations:This is a high visibility role in Monsanto Production. The candidate should have a passion to lead people, learn and deliver results in a fast paced environmentTime Commitment: Full-time accountability to MPS with 50-80% of time deployed to remote site activities during MPS launch windowsDeployment:Deployed at sites for ~ 6 months during site implementationCo-lead the site implementation in the wave-1 siteLead the implementation at wave-2 site and in subsequent wavesQualifications:Required Skills/Experience:Bachelor???s degree in Agriculture, Engineering disciplines, Supply Chain Management, or related disciplines5+ years experience in operations, production, and/or manufacturing areasSkilled at leading, managing conflict, and negotiating with cross-functional teamsDemonstration of courage, candor, and initiative in past assignmentsUnderstanding of plant operationsFocus on value delivery (e.g. cost reduction, productivity improvement, behaviors and practices)Ability to plan, execute and measure business benefitsAbility to work well cross functionally and globallyOpinion leader among peers and teamOpen to new and unconventional ideas and approachesDesired Skills/Experience:Advanced degree in Supply Chain Management Additional methodology training and certifications (e.g., Lean certification, Six-sigma black belt certification, etc.)Experience in managing and developing teams
