Florham Park, NJ Where the Chemistry HappensReporting to the Global ProductManager, you will represent the Plastic Additives regional business as the keyinterface with sales, customer care, supply chain, manufacturing, procurement,R&D, product stewardship and legal to successfully deliver business plantargets for the UV Absorbers, Flame Retardants and other Plastic Additivesproducts in North America (US, Mexico, Canada).Formulafor Success: Leveragingyour education, you will you will provide support in all aspects of business development atcountry level to ensure the consistent and correct implementation of agreedstrategies, policies and practices such as pricing, product and marketmanagement/ development and decide on the allocation of products according tochanges in profitability between the sub-regions.  This entails constantbudget review and you use your sharp decision-makingskills to make decisions in situations of product shortage.Demonstrating your experiencein developing and implementing strategies, you will develop regional productstrategies for the product or market segment in conjunction with TechnicalService, the National sales team and Global team. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing and implementing the regionalpricing strategy for the assigned products. Yourstrong business and financial acumen will be essential as you plan anddetermine regional budgets in collaboration with national and global teams,monitor the consolidated budget and the results for the assigned products, andmonitor and control the achievement of long-term targets and initiatecorrection measures. Your proven experience in all aspects ofproduct positioning, pricing, promoting and portfolio management will beessential as you conduct price positioning for the products in theregion/countries and industry segments (e.g. setting list price, expected priceand fall back price), analyze the cost structures of assigned products andexternal market competitiveness to recommend the price bands, and conduct amonthly review of the price bands and profitability targets as described by CM1. Successfully engaging across thebusiness, you will participate in Global Margin Management andPricing team activities, liaise with the Product Planner to ensure implementation of agreed product flow, and contributeto investment projects (if needed). Utilizingyour strong initiative and creativity, you will collate and monitor theregional market intelligence network (including pricing information,capacities, competitors? products, market share, costs etc.) Yourrobust problem-solving and effective communication skills will be valued assetsas you make recommendations on the technical and product assistance needs inthe regional markets and interface with regional / global technical team tosupport customers. Yourstrong analytical, strategic, and organizational skills will be vital as youprovide input of business trends and customer requirements, conduct portfoliomanagement and product & market segmentation, and own full responsibilityfor the product cost position in connection to strategic marketing andcontrolling.  Additionally, you will provide strategy recommendationsand execute implementation actions. Create Your OwnChemistry: What We Offer You Adding value to our customers begins withadding value to you.
