Regional Sales Manager Do you have solid sales experience and a passion for the Feed and/or Feed Additives industry, and have excellent people management skills? Do you have at least a couple years of successful regional sales management experience of a sales territory with multiple dealers and distribution channel partners and sales reps? Or are you someone who has been in the industry for several years with an extraordinary sales history and ready to manage people, business, and customer relations? Our client is looking for a strong Sales Professional to be responsible for all sales activities in assigned large region, including the Great Lakes and possible Eastern seaboard. This position will manage sales of the companys products and services in a number of key agricultural states. Responsible to ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment and management of sales strategy for the region. Identifies objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings. Collaborates with the North American Sales Manager in establishing and recommending the most realistic sales goals for the region, and identifying growth partners, etc. for the company. Manages the assigned geographic sales area to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives. Qualified candidate must meet the following qualifications: ? 10+ years of proven sales experience ? 3+ years sales management experience through dealer and distribution channel partners in the region ? B.S. degree minimum with strong dairy background is desired ? Problem solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance data ? Proven ability to track market trends, product positioning and achieve sales quotas ? Experience with formulation programs and in developing marketing and sales strategies ? Feed/nutrition/commodities experience within the dairy industry ? Strong communication skills, MS Office Suite and computer savvy ? Valid Drivers License and clean driving record a must
