Regional Sales Manager, DCS

?BASIC?FUNCTION:DeLaval is seeking a talented individual to serve as a Regional Sales Manager within DeLaval Cleaning Solutions (DCS).? The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing a group of Account Managers and managing the business activities of the assigned region.? The Regional Sales Manager reports to the DCS Sales Director.?RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead, develop and motivate a team of Account ManagersDevelop and implement the business strategy for the RegionSupport Account Managers in developing a relationship strategy unique to each customer in the region based on current and future needs that fosters a long-term, trusted relationship with DCS as a full-service cleaning and sanitation providerWorking with the Account Managers and Key Account Managers, identify new growth opportunities with existing or new customersRepresenting products, solutions and services offered by DCS, design and deliver effective customer proposals demonstrating the value propositions linked to customer?s key performance indicatorsProvide direction when negotiating contract terms and conditions, pricing, discounts and sales budgets to meet DeLaval growth, profitability and risk standardsAchieve annual sales targetsLead business reviews with key customer locations, reporting to customer management activities and actions being taken to add value to their operationsProvide sales KPIs to DCS Sales ManagerQuickly qualify opportunities in order to efficiently deploy DCS resources on high potential activitiesParticipate in industry trade events?WHAT DELAVAL OFFERS:Competitive salary and benefitsUncapped income growth potential as you drive salesVehicle reimbursement programPart of a leading, global organization with tremendous career development opportunitiesWorking in a collaborative team environment where your actions make a difference?REQUIRED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:Experience motivating and developing a teamA successful candidate has the ability to build and manage a strong portfolioHas knowledge in food and dairy processing; specifically related to CIP, H/P, foam and other methods employed in chemical sanitationGood spoken and written communication skillsStrong presentation and negotiation skillsExcellent organization / time management skillsProven relationship management and consultative skillsProblem solving ability to determine customer solutionsSelf-motivated and driven for resultsWilling to travel up to 60%; some overnight travel includedA valid US. Driver?s License and acceptable DMV record is required?EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND:BA/BS in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology and/or Business preferredPrevious experience managing a team required10+ years of demonstrated successful performance in B2B commercial sales preferred.Knowledge of food & beverage industry or sanitation industry preferredExperience/competency with Microsoft Office preferredStrong business and financial acumen preferred?DeLaval is the market leader in milking equipment employing 4 300 people in more than 100 markets around the world.
