Battle Creek, MIWhere the Chemistry HappensWe are seeking a professional like you to manage the NA supply chain management processes including production and raw materials planning, order fulfillment/shipping, warehouse operations (on and off site), inventory control/accuracy, production reporting and consumption.  Within the scope of this role are our Catalysts (G-CCB) plants in Battle Creek, Michigan, Elyria, Ohio, and 3rd party warehouse operations.  You will report to the G-CCB Global Supply Chain Manager.Formula for Success Leveraging your education in Business or Logistics and your professional background in Supply Chain Management, Demand Management and/or Sales Forecasting, you will ensure that production plans optimize plant output, meet customer demands, and minimize inventory.Your strong knowledge of Supply Chain Management and Manufacturing concepts is essential as you will identify, evaluate and implement improvements in the supply chain to improve the partnership with suppliers and customers, and to improve the agility of the business to respond to changes in the market.Leading a team of cross-functional professionals, you will maintain an effective and professional team relationship with Operations, Sales, Controlling, Technical, Quality, Customer Care, Foreign Trade, Product Management, and Marketing, as well as corporate/regional platforms.As a role model, you will encourage subordinates to strive for operational excellence by continually challenging old methods or ways of thinking and taking responsible risks to maximize results.  You will also promote innovative thinking and a focus on quality and safety.Your solid business acumen will be a valued asset as you identify risks for the supply chain, provide probability that the risk will occur, and evaluate “what-if” scenarios to provide understanding of the impact.  Additionally, you will facilitate the development of possible mitigating actions to allow the business to be more agile in responding to market disruptions and changes.Effectively communicating across the organization, you will actively support and engage in the S&OP process by organizing relevant data and participating in the monthly meetings.  You will also be the contact point for supply chain/logistics related non-conformances in an assigned area.Utilizing your keen analytical skills, you will establish targets for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) track performance, and take actions to improve, especially service and inventory metrics.Create Your Own Chemistry: What We Offer YouAdding value to our customers begins with adding value to you.
