Regulatory Affairs Manager or Senior Manager

The Regulatory Affairs Manager is responsible for coordination and execution of all federal and state regulatory activities for assigned active ingredients and products. The position requires planning, strategy development and coordination with multiple departments. The position reports to the Director of Regulatory Affairs. Duties include:Planning, compiling, and submitting registration applications to federal and state regulatory agencies.  Conducting necessary follow-up of the submission to ensure expedient review and approval of the registration in the minimum required time. Developing and implementing strategies to address generic or product specific Data Call-Ins or re-registration of NAI active ingredients or end-use products which are relevant to marketing strategies for the respective product. Developing strategies for shortening registration time lines, managing the size of EPA dietary Risk Cup, partnering with IR-4, and improving relationships with state and federal agencies. Ensuring compliance with FIFRA 6(a)(2) reporting requirements, Worker Protection Standard and OSHA Hazard Communications Standard (SDS). Perform as a dependable and integral member of a closely knit team and participate in substantial cross-department strategizing and problem solving. 15% – 25% overnight travel required, including international travel and some weekend travel days. For both positions, a background in chemistry or biological science is preferred. Additional qualifications for the Senior Manager position:Ph.D with minimum of 10 years relevant experience; orM.S. with minimum of 15 years relevant experience; orBS/BA with minimum of 20 years relevant experienceKnowledge of applicable laws and regulations under FIFRA and OSHA as applicable. Additional qualifications for the Manager position:Ph.D with minimum of 5 years relevant experience; orM.S. with minimum of 8 years relevant experience; orBS/BA with minimum of 10 years relevant experienceKnowledge of applicable laws and regulations under FIFRA and OSHA as applicable.
