Regulatory and Quality Specialist
?POSITION SUMMARY: The position will be responsible for maintaining all third party QA/QC programs, including HACCP, SF/SF, and RUPP as well as FSMA compliance under the direction of the Technical Support Manager. Maintenance of feed product labels within manufacturing and registration with requisite state and national authorities. Cooperation with Health and Human safety groups within each plant, and coordination with plant managers, plant superintendents, and safety coordinator. The ability to work to a deadline, form and deliver on action plans, and generate concise reports of performance and progress.?POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:To originate and maintain all product labels and registrations for all manufacturing facilities and ensure that feed labels are registered and version matching to formulation.To schedule and coordinate all manufacturing facilities annual audits, both internal and external, as well as implementation and follow up for any corrective actions.Maintain accurate and concise records of all quality control and quality assurance processes, checks, and validations.To define and document changes and improvements to manufacturing processes to comply with changing national, state, internal, or third party requirements.Process annual registrations for all branded and private label products, with appropriate state and national organizations, in conjunction with necessary plant personnel.To perform necessary supplier audits and maintain SDS, product label, and registration information from new and current suppliers.Generate and maintain database of product registrations by country, state, brand, type, and expiratory date.Coordinate with Technical Support Manager and sales team to supply cloud database labels and ensure current version use. Supply necessary supporting documentation.Work with plant safety officers to help with employee safety programs and collaboration between feed and worker safety.?POSITION REQUIREMENTS:BS in Animal Science, Food Science or related field2-3 years of experience in animal agriculture, feed manufacturing preferredProficient in Microsoft Office ProductsGood understanding of industry standards for quality and feed safetyAbility to manage deadlines and work independentlyProven ability to communicate effectively and interact with regulatory officialsLimited travel (2-6 weeks annually)Apply for this job.
