We currently have a Regulatory Program Manager position available with our Agribusiness division at Simplot Headquarters in Boise, ID.
SUMMARYThe Regulatory Program Manager is responsible for managing all crop protection, seed treatment, adjuvant and seed product lines in the growing product portfolios, including Wholesale Ag, Simplot Grower Solutions, Professional Products, Plant Health Technologies, Simplot Partners, Jacklin Seed and SIMPHOS® Feed, for Simplot's global market, from product concept through sales and use. RESPONSIBILITIESCoordinate and provide regulatory guidance and labeling expertise in cooperation with business teams for crop protection, seed treatment, adjuvant and seed products for the North America and Global marketsMaintain active registrations and ensure regulatory compliance, including responding to EPA, USDA or other federal agency requests, and updating label text and confidential statements of formula as required.Develop and file regulatory submissions according to governing agency procedures and requirements for the North America and Global markets, including communicating with in-country consultants or third partiesWork with production facilities and suppliers to ensure quality, efficacy and accuracy of technical information.Provide final regulatory approval for production, labeling and use.Request and provide required product information for development of product Safety Data Sheets.Provide State Registration Manager with documentation and input as needed to obtain state registrations and resolve state labeling issues.Coordinate with State Registration Manager to investigate violations, complaints or penalties to mitigate damages and address issues.Assist in resolving product use and labeling questions.Assist in review of sales and marketing materials for regulatory compliance.Maintain current knowledge of federal and state regulations to insure compliance, including proposed and final rules.Communicate regulation changes and their impact to regulatory, business teams and other stakeholders.Monitor and advise on emerging industry trends.Attend industry and governing agency conferences to maintain relationships with officials and stay current on laws, regulations and industry issues.Participate in and contribute to industry work groups and committees as an advocate and representative of the organization.Participate in business and employee training related to product regulations and overall regulatory compliance. REQUIREMENTSBachelor's Degree from 4 year college or university. Master's Degree preferred.
