This is an exempt position Position Summary:The release and Deployment Lead will be part of the centralized Release and Deployment competency and will provide the process, methodology and governance to the project & delivery teams in regards to Release and Deployment management process. The individual will champion and promote standard processes and will collaborate with key development stakeholders in developing and executing a robust test and release process. This position can be located in any Global IT hub in North America, South America, EMEA or APAC. Job Responsibilities:Work with Project Managers/ Leads and teams to familiarize team members with the standard Release and Deployment processes, methods, tools.Set up and execute governance structure in regards to Release and Deployment processesWork with managers/ leads to develop release strategies, plans and communicate best practices.Execute Release and Deployments along with the project team members and code migration teams and improve pre-established release cyclesManage emergency deployments and related documentations/ approvals.Establish & maintain metrics & reports in order to continuously improve the release & deployment processes and practicesCoordinate between the project and code migration teamsReport any delays, risks and issuesMaintain SOX compliance Work with Audit teams during internal/ external audits Job Requirements:Bachelor?s degree or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 3 years? experience managing multiple concurrent work streams, documenting processes, and leveraging best-suited methodologies and practices.Knowledge of agile software development, DevOps configuration management/automation, , Testing, Deployment methodsExcellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to lead, manage and interact professionally with a diverse global team of resources.Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work in a high-pressure team environment, handle multiple tasks and react quickly to problems and issues.Experience in creating and utilizing Process Flow, Project Plans, metrics and other deliverables.Prior experience with Release and Deployment process, cut-over preferred in an organization with large variety and complex landscape of applicationsShould have good understanding of different environments and migration pathsProviding effective customer service with ability to appropriately balance risk with service delivery expectations.Understand compliance requirements related to Release and DeploymentsRelocation assistance is available with this position.
