Seneca, SCWhere the Chemistry HappensAs a member of the Reliability Group within Technical Engineering Services, your key responsibility will involve driving plant reliability performance, mainly through administering the Mechanical Integrity program by using the most appropriate and effective tools and techniques. You will assist in the completion of preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance work pertaining to fixed equipment, and support capital and expense project activity where necessary. You will also provide technical support to Production and Maintenance personnel, lead or participate in Root Cause Failure Analyses and monitor KPI data for early identification and resolution of reliability issues. Additionally, you will collaborate with Production and Maintenance personnel and provide services related to design review, repair and maintenance, including predictive/preventative maintenance activities. This position provides technical support to troubleshooting of problems and optimization of PM and PdM programs and ensures a culture of continuous improvement through the implementation of Lean Manufacturing tools.This role is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge and experience in the following areas: pressure vessel inspection (API 572 guideline), using API 510 in-service inspections, rating, repair and alterations recommendations, inspection of pressure relieving devices (PRD?s), – API 576, the ASTM E1067-11 standard for Acoustic Emission testing of fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) vessels, and the associated visual inspections for the determination of its structural integrity, tank inspections (API 575 practice) using API 653 standard and associated follow-up for necessary repairs, any alterations, and / or reconstruction.Additionally, you will work with pumps, applications, installation, and related shaft sealing systems, and related laser alignments, corrosion coupon monitoring, and ultrasonic thickness measurement and testing (certification is recommended).You will be expected to operate in a demanding position from the point of view of a large measure of self-direction, and you will be expected to build trust and strive for excellence with minimal supervisory interaction.
