engineering theory, practices, and principles to perform failure analysis,
such as RCFA and 5-Why, to determine root cause of equipment failures and
conduct equipment performance evaluations
participate in maintenance and reliability networks (internal and
external) and share best practices, successes and failures. Leverage
network learnings to improve Reliability.
Reliability Leadership, coaching, and support to site related to early
work identification, Standard Operating Procedures, and practices
impacting general/overall machine health.
promote consistency by standardizing procedures/equipment/operations/data
standards within area of responsibility.
equipment trends, historical data, field data, and Uptime/OEE data to
recommend and justify improvements to obtain lowest life cycle cost on
different classes of equipment.
equipment Criticality and develop/improve maintenance strategies and spare
part strategies to prevent/mitigate failure events and ensure attainment
of production objectives at optimum business cost.
small team projects to harmonize preventive and predictive maintenance
plans on key assets that deliver appropriate failure mode mitigation at
optimum business cost.
how process variation and equipment operation can impact equipment
reliability, and provide leadership and support to drive improvements.
with capital project resources to facilitate Design for Reliability as
part of new equipment selection and design processes
implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) by identifying and
supporting autonomous maintenance done by operators, where appropriate,
and work with sites to ensure training and procedures maintain reliability
during work execution.QualificationsThe following are required:Bachelor of Science degree or higher in mechanical engineering, reliability engineering or related field of studyUnderstanding of reliability principles and techniques (ex. RCFA, RCM, FMEA)Understanding of Maintenance Management Fundamentals (ex. planning, scheduling, training, MRO Management)Project and Program Management skillsAbility to develop, foster, and excel in a team environmentStrong interpersonal skills and conflict resolution skills with an ability to influence multiple levels of the organizationWillingness and ability to take a hands-on approach in training and execution The following are preferred:Three or more years of related, professional experience preferredTwo or more years of experience in a production/maintenance environmentCertified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP)Knowledge of OEE, LEAN, Six Sigma
