Other roles include assessment of the mechanical integrity and safety of the Nutrien’s Borger Nitrogen Operations and helping to improve mechanical reliability performance to world class standards.What you will do: Pressure equipment and tank inspectionCorrosion monitoring of vessels and pressure piping systems Utilize Risk Based Inspection (RBI) techniques to plan and manage inspection programNondestructive testing, including Liquid Penetration Inspection (LPI), Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Ultrasonic Testing (UT)Outage inspection planning and coordinating Inspection contractor coordination and managementIncident investigation team leader/memberFit for Service evaluationTechnical report writingData entry using the Inspection Management Database (VISIONS)Up to 30% travel to other US Nitrogen locationsWhat you will bring: A technical certificate in a related discipline, B.S in mechanical or civil engineering preferredMinimum of 5-10 years' previous inspection and/or mechanical integrity experience in an industrial chemical plant or refineryMaintain applicable certifications (e.g., NDT techniques: UT, MT, PT, VT, LT; AWS CWI; ASME; API 510, 570, 653, etc.)National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors Certificate preferredKnowledge of Visions, Bentley APM, RCM II and PM optimization methodologies would be beneficialKnowledge of techniques to perform Root Cause Failure Analyses (RCFA)Knowledge of AMSE code (Sec VII, 31.3, 31.1 etc.)Knowledge of Risk Based Inspection (RBI) theory and practicesProficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite and SAPExcellent verbal and written communication skills Are you a good match?
