Research Technician – Urethane Applications Machine Operator ? Wyandotte, Michigan The Research Technician – Urethane Applications Machine Operator will support the Urethane Systems Technical Service and R&D Communities by performing new product development trials and customer troubleshooting efforts in the machine area for the Construction, Consumer, Industrial, and Transportation business segments of Performance Materials. Working under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the Technician performs tasks such as: Support technical service community by setting up and operating machines for trials and/or customer troubleshootingPerform housekeeping tasks around operating equipment and assigned areasPrepare product blends for customer trialsPerform maintenance tasks for equipment, including PMs, repairs, troubleshooting, etc.Operate hand tools and power tools, such as band saws, drill presses Ensure that the proper testing equipment/instrument and method are used as specified (Karl Fisher Titrators and Viscometers) Work independently following all safety policies and standard operating procedures Work as part of a team to achieve common project and workplace goals Other tasks as assignedAble to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs Create Your Own Chemistry: What We Offer You?
