DescriptionCorteva Agriscience, Agriculture Division of DowDuPont has an exciting opportunity for Residue Scientist in the
Regulatory Residue Chemistry Team within Crop Protection Regulatory Sciences R&D. The Residue Scientist will
provide chemical Residue expertise to global regulatory teams for development and implementation of the r egulatory
strategy for molecule/s and related products. This position is located in Indianapolis, IN. Role Summary: Accountable to provide Residue expertise to global regulatory teams for development and implementation of the
regulatory strategy for molecule/s and related products. Primary Responsibilities:  Technical expert for molecule/s within Residue discipline.Knowledge on what testing has been conducted and understand the results and implications. Participate in developing and maintaining the global regulatory strategy. Maintain knowledge of literature and regulatory developments in Residue discipline. Testing ProgramStrategy and Interpretation  Develop the multi-year testing program. Interpret study results.Understand current and future areas of concern, identify test/data gaps, and develop strategy for addressing. Ensure Residue strategy is aligned with overall (crossmolecule) approaches within technical team. Study Design and Conduct Determine test and reference substance needs and communicate to stakeholders including team leaders in time to allow
production and GLP-certification. Coordinate with Study Directors and Study Monitors for conduct of studies. Accountable for study design, ensuring that studies meet scientific standards and regulatory guidelines and
requirements. Critically review study protocols, interim results, final reports, and study summaries, ensuring alignment with regulatory
strategy. Regulatory Submissions and Support Responsible for dossier preparation for Residue discipline, including relevant components of overview sections and study
summaries. Lead or contribute to advocacy efforts with regulatory agencies or other influencers, decision or policy makers (e.g., food
chain). Provide post-submission support with timely responses to questions raised by regulators Communicate information to relevant stakeholders, including other project Subject Matter Experts, functional groups and
leadership, and project regulatory leaders. Identify and raise potential adverse effects with the team and progress these in line with company policy and regional or
country legal requirements QualificationsRequired Qualifications:BS or MS with 2 to 3 years experience Familiarity with pesticides regulatory guidelines and residue chemistry studies Ability to independently design experiments, interpret complex technical data, provide recommendations and their
implications.Proven Project Management skills along with strong ability to proactively communicate, interact and influence with
various networks Excellent interpersonal relations, customer focus; willing to learn and quickly adapt in a dynamic environment A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa
sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card)
process. Preferred Qualifications: At least 2-3 years of relevant industry experiencePhD level degree in a scientific discipline with relevant background Working knowledge of agricultural practices and food/feed processing plus knowledge of GLP is desired Knowledge & experience in developing & implementing contract research is a plus
