We currently have a Risk Management Analyst position available at our Corporate Headquarters in Boise, ID. SUMMARYThis role provides a unique opportunity for a candidate to experience all facets of risk management and insurance for a complex and dynamic company. The Risk Management Analyst is an integral member of the Simplot Risk Management team supporting a variety of areas within the department and will maintain key internal relationships with each of our Global Business Units, Accounting, Legal, HR, Tax, Safety and Asset Management as well as externally with our Insurance Brokers, Third Party Claims Administrators, Property Risk Engineers and Insurers.
* Coordinate the placement and administration of assigned insurance programs such as Property, Casualty, and Workers Compensation (e.g. collection of exposure data, preparing underwriter submissions, review proposals and policies for accuracy, provide input and overall administration of insurance policies.* Interact with third party advisors and service providers (e.g. Broker, Actuary, Third Party Claims Administrators and Property Risk Control Engineers).* Manage, mine and analyze various data elements utilizing excel and other software.
Create reports showing trends and risk improvement opportunities* Assist Claims Manager with claims reporting and administration.* Preparation and filing of compliance reports* Analyze losses and premiums and prepare budget allocations to business groups. Prepare and filing of any compliance reports* Manage and coordinate certificate of insurance contractual requirements.* Champion the implementation and ongoing operation of Risk Management Information Systems.* Documentation of department work process and identifying process improvement opportunities. REQUIREMENTS * Commercial Insurance/Finance related experience, insurance education/designations valuable. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered for meeting the minimum requirements. * Bachelor's Degree or Associate degree.
