The US Row Crops Organization isseeking highly motivated Automation Engineering Co-ops.These positions will be located at our seed production sites in Boone, IA, and Remington, IN, reportto our North American Row Crops Automation Engineering Lead. Automation Engineering Co-ops willget hands-on experience at a North American seed production facility. Studentsare involved in fundamental aspects of crop production during their employmentto gain valuable automation knowledge for future career opportunities. Allco-ops will partake in an orientation session and end of assignment wrap upsession held in St. Louis, MO. KeyResponsibilities: Leadingoptimization projectsPlanningmaintenance programsIdentifyingopportunities for continuous improvementImprovingoperating proceduresAssistingin programming, scoping and supporting IT projects (depending on background anddegree) Qualifications:RequiredSkills/Experiences: Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors pursuing a BS
degree in Electrical Engineering, Ag Engineering, Automation Engineering
or other related Engineering degree. Ability to commit to a 7-month co-op (mid-May –
Dec.)Self-motivated with a strong results orientation.
Demonstrated ability to manage a deadline while
being able to focus on detailsStrong problem-solving skills and an ability to
organize (thoughts, data, etc)Knowledgeable in computing systems, control
system hardware including instrumentation PLC and HMI equipment Demonstrated leadership ability. Desire to learn and willing to ask questions
and able to adapt to changeCandidates must have their own transportation
to and from the worksite, as most of the work locations are situated in
