CHS Aligned Solutions is partnering with a progressive member cooperative in Northwestern North Dakota to hire a Sales Agronomist. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction with superior service that will make the company the customer’s first choice. Responsibilities: Promote the proper use of crop protection products, seed and precision agriculture to customers to grow market share.Spend a majority of time in the country working with farmers to earn business.Create and recommend specific agronomy programs based off of yield results, crop scouting and seed knowledge to customers.Understand the business functions of employee team and assist the team in improving the efficiency and profitability of the locations assigned.Coordinate with operations manager on spreading and delivery of bulk fertilizer to assure the cost effective use of equipment.Assure that federal and state regulations pertaining to chemicals and fertilizers are observed and adhered to. Basic Qualifications: Degree in Agronomy, Ag Econ, Ag Business, Ag Ed, Ag engineering, Soil or Weed Science.
