General Objectives:The sales consultant should strive to understand the unique needs and limitations of each customer and tailor both their product and service offering to each customer. Your goal is to identify performance limitations, find solutions to nutritional problems, and assist the customers in implementing plans that will move their operation toward their stated goals in a manner that is mutually beneficial. Primary Duties:Make sales calls on customers and prospects, including farms, veterinarians and retail stores.Represent and sell Bluebonnet Feeds in the assigned territoryBe knowledgeable about the feed and animal industries to be an asset to customers. Provide solutions to customers’ and prospects’ nutritional needs.Help the customers solve problems which arise in their operations and capitalize on opportunities that exist.Administrative duties as assignedManage company resources in a professional manner. Work Schedule:80 to 90% of work time is spent in the field working with customers and prospects.10 to 20% of work time is administrative activities, planning, follow up and attending company and industry meetings or events. This is done from a home office. Relationships:Develop as a peer to other regional and national sales consultants. Leverage technical and business resources offered by Bluebonnet Feeds and AC Nutrition.Develop a network of external resources from suppliers and academia.
