Candidates should have a background in agronomy and must be passionate about farming and/or food systems and thoughtful enough to appreciate the unique value we offer to farmers and farm communities. Great communication skills are essential, as this person will be communicating effectively with people of varying experience and perspective.? Decisiveness and the ability to possess a big picture perspective are a must as well as being well versed in systems with disciplined planning and time management skills. While sales experience is a must, preference will be given to candidates with backgrounds agriculture, agronomy, animal science or horticulture. New Sales Consultants will become experts in MBA's philosophy, approach, and product line to provide consultation and guidance where farmers need it most. ??Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Sales Consultant will be an experienced salesperson that calls on customers, retail dealerships and distributors in assigned territory.
