Sales Coordinator – Regional Beef
Primary responsibilities include supporting sales in a designated regional territory with emphasis on distribution, retail and foodservice accounts.
*Bachelor?s degree in Ag Business, Meat Science, Market or Animal Science preferred.
*Strong organizational skills and acute attention to detail.
*Experience in scheduling and planning preferred.
*Intermediate skills in Excel preferred.
*Ability to work independently and know when to ask questions.
*Strong time management skills required?multi task.
*Excellent phone, presentation, verbal and written skills.
Account management using market and product knowledge.
Telephone contact with all accounts to meet their needs on product and programs.
Support/Assist the sales account Executives on daily price negotiation with customers thru margin management to generate out front product positioning, program positioning and daily spot sales.
Conduct small sales on transactional customer accounts for learning/development purposes
Assist in tying orders to make full trucks in area of responsibilities.
Knowledge of market conditions, trends and competitive pricing.?? Communicate to margin management and sales persons in like markets.
Ability to develop sales plans and organize administrative responsibilities.
Good working relationships with both internal and external customers.
Good customer service skills/problem solving skills. ?Be able to communicate shorts, order status and on time delivery issues.? Offer resolutions.
