The primary function of our Sales Manager is to give the daily direction to our outside sales personnel as well as manage the internal product support team. Role and Responsibilities ManagementSupervise the territory managersBuild forecast by product and by region – regularly monitor and inform of upside or downsideAccountable for P/L of the sales team and forecastAid in supervision training for our dealersAid in supervision and management of The Proving Grounds grower event as well as Ag Retail/John Deere eventsSupervise and manage two annual sales meetingsBuild and maintain a cohesive team with a focus on strengths alignment and candorManage the qualification, maintenance and expansion of dealers and dealer agreementsConduct annual employee performance evaluations for the territory managers Primary TasksDevelop, manage and execute marketing programs to increase sales performanceMake knowledgeable presentations of our product linesPresent specifications and pricing information to the customer on our product linesEstablish and maintain good dealer and customer relationsBe actively involved in the industry associationDevelop and assist in managing and business the 360 Yield Center and John Deere sales channelsPlan the national sales meeting itinerary, schedule, and activitiesManage and approve/deny questions regarding dealer discounting and discretionary spending with consideration of operationsReview and provide input on product priceCommunicate customer feedback to benefit other aspects of our operationAssist in projecting sales for territories and monitoring growth Job Requirements The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
