Position PurposeSales Managers are accountable for leading the sales team as they develop and engage customers and grow our market share. ?They are responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, supervising, and coaching sales consultants. ?They are measured by business growth and retention ? volume, profit, and market share ? within their assigned market area. ?To be considered for this position, candidates must possess talent and experience in leadership, management, marketing, and sales, and have interpersonal skills consistent with leading a high performing team.Principal Accountabilities60% Coaching, training, supporting, and evaluating efforts of sales consultants in execution of the sales and marketing plan. ?Conducting sales meetings, training sessions, telephone consultations, and performance reviews. Direct supervision of 5-10 employees10% Direct customer interaction, both individually and in coordination with the sales team. ?5% Recruiting and networking with universities and other industry organizations and individuals (both within and outside the animal nutrition industry) to source and hire talented, qualified sales consultant candidates.5% Developing a marketing plan that is in sync with the business? plan and capabilities.10% Special projects and other administrative duties.10% Personal learning and development activities.*LOCATION: Nashville, TN; or Atlanta, GA; Montgomery,

5+ years' experience in sales or sales management
Deep knowledge/experience of sales, customer
development and development and implementation of sales strategies.
?Proven experience leading teams.
Deep understanding of the beef industry.
Competitive mindset with track record of high

skills and strong analytical skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to engage
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Bachelor's Degree in Business or Agriculture
