Sales Manager, North American Operations
HARDI North America, an industry-leading manufacturer of Agricultural trailed spraying equipment has a great opportunity for the right person! HARDI is seeking a professional, energetic and detail oriented person who is ready to step up into our Sales Manager role. This position will report directly to the President as part of the HARDI North America management team, and is a salaried plus incentive position. The Sales Manager will have direct management/leadership responsibility over Territory Managers and other sales related positions. Responsibilities:Responsible for sales goal setting and sales and marketing budgeting for the companyCreating national and regional sales and marketing programs and campaignsMake overall dealer development plansPlan national shows and regional dealer meetingsLead individual Territory Managers in development of their assigned territories and achieving the territory goals for both retail sales and order writingHelp Territory Managers implement dealer development and market development projectsAssist Territory Managers with dealers customer meetings, field days, service trainings, as well as farm shows or other proactive events in their regionsPerform Territory Managers performance reviews regularly along with development of action plans with the Territory Managers to continually help build their performanceReview implementation of action plans regularly and adjust as needed to ensure peak performanceBe able to assist Territory Managers structuring financing deals for their dealers customersAssist in obtaining orders/retails and managing inventory with Territory Managers on their assigned territoriesEnsure that warranty registrations are being completed and submitted in a timely fashionProvide feedback and recommendations on quarterly programsMeet and/or exceed expectations and be a strong positive influence to help the sales team achieve goalsWork with other departments in a team spirit to make things happen, drive sales, but not over commit Professional qualificationsPreference for a degree in sales and marketing and/or a strong technical background in agronomy, or related field Substantial, overall managerial experience preferably within a sales and marketing organizationMinimum of five years of direct experience in sales through dealers and/or distributors – specifically in the North American market offering a capital goods product with a high profile or brand image – either within agricultural equipment or a closely related industry – a plus would also be experience in direct retail sales to end users.
