Kennco, a 45 year old company, and leader in the farm implement industry is seeking a Sales professional who will be responsible for developing new sales opportunities and cultivating and maintaining relationships with current customers.The successful candidate will work predominantly from a local office alongside other team members to qualify new prospects, sell our standard product and customize equipment for customers, support existing customers, provide design improvement feedback, identify and carry out marketing campaigns, and track and manage all activities throughout the sales process. Stable weekday hours will be the norm, although some local travel and trade show work will be expected.Your relationship building skills will be utilized daily in developing and strengthening relationships with customers. A good sense of humor, positive attitude, and the fortitude to work in a fast-paced, team oriented environment are also important.Candidates must have some agricultural industry experience, preferably in raised bed farming using plastic mulch. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are also a must. Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office 2010.Located in Ruskin, Florida on the Gulf Coast we are in between Tampa and St. Petersburg.
