You ll help dealers, distributors, and end users identify needs and offer solutions in one of several businesses: Mycogen Seeds, Traits and Healthy Oils, Northern and Coastal Crop Protection, Turf and Ornamental, Industrial Vegetation Management, or Pest Management. Our global scale also means that your options for the future are virtually unlimited.?Education and background.We seek candidates with a bachelor s or master's degrees in business, economics, agricultural science, or other related disciplines.?Primary Responsibilities.Sales representatives are the face of Dow AgroSciences, creating demand for and increasing the understanding of our products. You will work directly with our customers to:Provide technical assistance to dealers, end users, or channel partners in the proper use and stewardship ofour products.Consult with end users to evaluate pests, soil conditions, product selection, application method, and applicationtiming for our products.Annual planning and forecasting with primary accounts, in conjunction with product teams.Present technical information to key accounts to ensure complete understanding of pricing, terms, programs, program deadlines, regulatory changes, or other relevant issues.Monitor results of product marketing programs via regular timely reports and product planning.Evaluate and pursue new marketing opportunities, working with field product technologists.Develop relationships with trade organizations and customers to promote our products.?Skills and experience.Our sales representatives are vital and work independently with our customers, understanding their concerns and helping them find solutions through our products.
