SALES REPRESENTATIVE DE, MD & EASTERN PA Looking for an opportunity for limitless earning? A leading vegetable seed distributor is seeking a self-motivated, ambitious sales representative to serve growers in DE, MD & Eastern PA. Summary:A sales representative is responsible for managing existing and attracting new customers within the assigned territory. Preparing farmers for any new products coming on the market. This position will be focused on understanding each farmers operation, determining their needs and developing action plans on how Clifton Seed Company can support their future growth initiatives through establishing a client relationship with our organization. Essential Job Functions:Sell vegetable seed direct to farmers via assigned accounts and recruited accountsUnderstanding the farmer s crop input and needs throughout the seasonParticipates in selected sales activities, i.e. customer meetings, trade shows, sales meeting to keep abreast of sales trends and sales environmentImplements company goals and objectives that will grow the seed business and develop profitable relationships with customersMaintains a current knowledge of products, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trendsQuotes prices, and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained and promotes the use of credit programs as a sales tool and helps provide the required information to establish creditWork with our product development specialist on implementing trials Requirements / Experience: 4-year degree preferred2-3 years experience in the agricultural and Vegetable Seed industry, preferred but not requiredMust have and maintain a valid driver s license and satisfactory driving recordMust be willing to work hours beyond those considered normalAbility to meet deadlines (including processing the sales paperwork)Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.Ability to develop and maintain productive work relationships with associates, dealers, grower customers and related industry personnel. Ability to travel on a regular basis throughout the assigned territory, and to company/industry meetings as required.Apply for this job.
