Sales Support Specialist
DuPont Pioneer has an opening for a Sales Support Specialist to join our team in Johnston, Iowa. As a Sales Support Specialist, you will utilize your skills in customer service and logistics to serve as a key contact between our sales and integrated operations departments. You will report to the Sales Support Supervisor and work closely with a variety of groups such as shipping locations, supply chain groups, sales support colleagues, account managers, sales providers, and load coordinators. Shipping specific responsibilities will be the primary focus for this position at least seven months out of the year. Main job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Coordinate the movement of product to meet sales demands, which includes coordinating outbound and return sales provider deliveries, and may also include some direct customer delivery coordinationMake business decisions regarding inventory movements, repackaging requests and other logistics related situations Plan and coordinate transportation options with sales providers to select the most economical and timely optionLead in season efforts (e.g. adding products, in field transfers vs. plant deliveries)Provide on-going quality customer service to sales providers, dealers and field sales personnel (manage product moves at the Point of Sale Level, maintain sales provider profile records, manage Unit Return discrepancies with the sales providers, lead Probulk Discard Management process, manage Probox charges and treatment residue issues with sales providers)Actively support teammates to ensure a high level of performance across the entire business unit team and US team when requestedWork with key DuPont Pioneer systems including R3, FAD, Managed Supply, InfoPoint Portal Reporting System, SharePoint, SMI, NASNet, Excel, Pivot tables, FIS2010 Central Version and ConnexUtilize the appropriate systems and reports to assist sales providers in locating needed productsQualifications:The following are required:High school diploma/GED equivalent At least 1-3 years of experience in customer service, logistics, or production agriculture The following are preferred:Associate???s or Bachelor???s degree in business, agriculture, logistics, or a closely related field of studyBasic knowledge of Microsoft ExcelApply for this job.
