Scalehouse Coordinator

SUMMARY: This position is a training position for hog buying. In this position you will start work in the livestock receiving alleys at the plant. Then train with hog buyers in the field. After adequate training with buyers you will begindoing vacation relief for hog buyers. Later in your training you will be in charge of the scheduling of livestock deliveries at the plant location. Upon completion of this training you should be qualified to apply for openings in hog buying.REQUIREMENTS:Education: College education preferred (Animal Science or Ag Business) or equivalent experience in hog buying.Experience: Knowledge of modern swine production.Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
