The GlobalTechnical Marketing group, based in Tarrytown NY, is a dynamic,customer-focused, fast-paced, technical center that generates knowledge aboutour products to support the development of drug formulations in all regions ofthe world. Our group is responsible for deploying pharmaceutically-relevant technicalcontent to regional sales teams, and maintaining contact with customers,academic collaborators, consultants, regional laboratories, and numerous otherdisciplines and groups within BASF. This ensures that we provide the most advancedand complete information to the pharmaceutical industry in applications withinthe scope of Immediate and Modified Release of Oral Dosage Forms, Solubilization,Skin Delivery, Softgels, Parenterals, and Biologic solutions. The Global TechnicalMarketing group is currently looking for a hands-on self-motivated professionallike you with extensive experience in pharmaceutical formulation and processdesign for oral dosage forms. Formulafor Success Leveraging your education in Science,
Pharmaceutics or an Engineering field combined with your relevant pharmaceutical experience in formulation and process development
for oral dosage forms, you will provide scientific expertise in trials for
the Immediate and Modified Release platform. Demonstrating your experience with common analytical
techniques such as: USP I/II dissolution, HPLC, DSC, TGA and your
practical experience in material characterization techniques, you will generate
knowledge on excipient ? drug interactions and their impact on process
performance and long-term stability, respectively.Using your extensive knowledge and practical
experience in formulation design and drug product manufacturing, you will
prepare formulations and generate data of oral dosage forms (tablets,
capsules, oral films and melt tablets) via relevant manufacturing
processes such as wet and dry granulation, blending, direct-compression, hot-melt
extrusion, etc.  Additionally, you
will use statistics to understand the data.Your strong verbal and written communication skills
will be essential as you share results via technical reports, articles,
posters, journal publications, and marketing communications.Demonstrating your technical proficiency and
scientific creativity in designing, planning and executing lab trials, you
will design, execute and manage laboratory experiments to develop
technical knowledge of drug-excipient functionality to support and grow
the global excipients business.Your strong technical knowledge paired with your
excellent presentation skills will be a valued asset as you deliver
training to colleagues, customers and academic collaborators, and provide
technical support for tradeshows and external conferences (e.g. posters,
oral presentations, workshops and customer meetings).Your firm commitment to customer care will be evident
as you support customer technical projects and activities for key global
customers.Successfully collaborating across the organization, you
will engage with regional scientists in North America, South America,
Europe and Asia Pacific to align on projects that create value to the
business.  You will also participate
in global teams to conduct investigations, plan scale-up activities and
share technical content.Your strong organizational skills and ability to
manage a multitude of technical projects with minimal supervision will
serve you well as you manage day-to-day activities in the lab (e.g.
ordering supplies, maintaining high safety standards, maintaining
equipment and hardware, etc.).  This
includes working with equipment vendors to coordinate maintenance
