Senior Manager, Latin America and Caribbean in Trade Structured Finance

Bunge Global Markets, Inc. seeks a full-time Senior Manager, Latin America and Caribbean in Trade Structured Finance in Coral Gables, Florida to play a key role in the company’s operations and focuses on the company’s extensive business in Latin America.  Duties include originating Trade and Structured Finance (TSF) transactions in Latin America (including Mexico, Central America and South America) and the Caribbean (the “Region”); investigating banks’ liquidity and funding positions and pricing; marketing TSF funding products (GSM, Bank Transit funding) to local and foreign banks in the Region; negotiating on pricing, documentation and execution procedures with banks and corporations; marketing funding structures directly to corporate customers or via bank introduction especially prepayment structure to corporations; establishing strong working relationships with banks in the Region; creating banking support to issue LC/BG/SBLC in support of our TSF trades and/or invest/fund/risk participate in our structures; updating TSF management on competitors' actions in the Region’s markets; providing timely advice of onshore financial market developments especially liquidity, interest rates and FX rate movement and trends; acting as a liaison with regulatory agencies like Central Bank and update on pertinent regulatory and tax changes affecting our TSF businesses;  being alert for any changes in financial markets that create FX and interest arbitrage opportunities; submitting marketing reports after each trip; and ascertaining the financing and FX requirements of Bunge commodity buyers and liaising with Bunge teams to provide solutions.The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Management Sciences, or a closely related field and 5 years of experience in a Senior Level TSF role in the agricultural commodities industry to include 5 years of experience developing strategy, executing growth plans designed to effectively establish, manage and develop a TSF business within the Latin America and Caribbean region (the Region), including experience with the origination, structuring and distribution of TSF funding transactions from counterparties in the Region; origination market for TSF funding transactions with the Region; distribution market outside the Region for distributing Latin American TSF Funding transactions; trade/fx/banking regulations for the countries within the Region; UCP600 rules and regulations with respect to letters of credit; evaluating coverage offered by Export Credit Agency (ECA) programs and the commercial insurance markets that finance and/or cover the TSF transactions originated in Region; and experience with Basle III banking regulations and how that impacts the capitalization/liquidity management of banks within the Region.  The position requires approximately 20% of international and domestic travel.
