We currently have a Security Desk Receptionist position available at our Headquarters in Boise, ID.
SUMMARYPerforms services, tasks and functions that are critical to the day to day operation of the Company Headquarter building. The ability to multi task, manage multiple priorities, use various planning and organizational tools in a demanding, customer driven environment is critical. This position is the initial contact for all employees, visitors and walk ins entering our corporate facility. This position plays an integral role with our security and emergency response programs to include working with on an hourly basis our Security Contractors. Duties and tasks are varied and not always standardized REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)AA or BS degree is a plus. Two plus years related experience and/or training. Knowledge of administrative procedures, computers and relevant software applications. Knowledge of customer service principles and practices; knowledge of operational usage of a multiline telephone system. They are not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required of personnel so classified.Combination of education, training and/or experience will be considered for this position.RESPONSIBILITIES:Receive employee visitors, customers and walk-ins at the Main Lobby desk.Welcome on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel via a visitor management system and only after all security checks have been executed.Executes and works with our employees on guest parking passes, validations, events support and other information that is centralized to the front desk function.Answers and screens all incoming phone calls, takes messages or transfers to appropriate employee as necessary.Provides general but limited information regarding the organization to the public, clients and customers.Direct delivery vehicles and/or personnel to appropriate delivery points on the property.Is the total owner of making sure front desk supplies and needs are ordered and inventories maintained. Additionally is the primary controller of site keys, site radios, visitors badges and employee badges.Primary site interface with assigned security personnel to include participating in all necessary security related notifications and communications. The successful candidate must be the subject matter expert and primary resource to all contracted security personnel including the site security supervisor when it comes to policy and procedure training and interpretation.Monitors site security camera system.
