GROWMARK is large enough to offer solid career opportunities, but small enough to provide a family-oriented, welcoming environment and great benefits.See what it's like to work at GROWMARK:??https://youtu.be/IsXYA-oaFYo??PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT?Develops and implements Seed product marketing strategies for the US GROWMARK territory.?ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS?Provides leadership and direction regarding Seed product marketing to?Field Sales Managers and Field Sales Agronomists.?Assists in development and articulation of marketing campaign strategies and action plans to ensure that the marketing of Seed products and services are focused and align with customer, member cooperatives and producer expectations.?Facilitates the development and implementation of annual Seed marketing plans?in coordination with Field Sales Managers, member cooperatives, and Agronomy staff.? Evaluates results and takes timely corrective actions.?Responsible for the administration and implementation of System Supported Seed brand programs. Provides leadership and serves as primary contact for marketing or technical questions related to these programs.?Leads and executes planning and coordination of assigned events, meetings and programs, including communications, logistics and venue.?Manages the development and production of advertising, sales support materials and FS Seed Brand marketing collateral in coordination with Marketing Communications.?Manages web-based applications to complement Agronomy marketing, training, and merchandising programs.?Responsible for the development and implementation of training, selling tools and information to aid FS Seed Brand sales growth.?Collaborates with Crop Protection division, and other key contributors, for development of marketing materials for proprietary FS Crop Protection products.?Develop marketing collaterals to assist in cross-sell opportunities for seed and crop protection products.?Builds and develops strong relationships with agency vendors?and serves as primary contact.?Performs regular market intelligence reviews to stay up to date on how competitors are marketing to their customers and prospects.?Responsible for maintaining and communicating FS Seed Brand market share data by FS customer.?Manages, develops, and monitors selling expense allocations and marketing budgets for all Seed marketing efforts.?OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS?Follows GROWMARK?s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.?Performs all other duties as assigned.?REQUIREMENTS?Normally requires a bachelor?s degree in marketing, communications or other business related discipline, or the equivalent thereof, and at least 5 years or more of marketing and communications related work experience. ?Prefers a strong understanding of the seed industry. ?Prefers an understanding of GROWMARK Agronomy including products, communications and marketing strategies.?Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.?Must have and maintain a valid driver?s license and satisfactory driving record.Must have the ability to travel independently and overnight as needed.?Must have and maintain a valid US passport.Frequently exposed to extreme weather conditions and required to lift 21-50 lbs.Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK?s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.?We are an equal opportunity employer, including protected veterans and qualified individuals with disabilities.
