The primary responsibilities of the Seeds Site Logistics Supervisor are as follows:• Ensure the proper receipt and handling of raw materials coming from suppliers as well as internal customers;• Provide raw materials in a timely manner to our processing plants to ensure their productivity;• Support Materials Manager in seed lot selection to support stakeholder quality requirements and FIFO;• Manage Phytosanitary certification process in preparation for exports;• Direct shipping and receiving activities at the site and to and from the cotton seed processing plants;• Generate documents for inbound/outbound shipments, including bar code labels for WM movements within the warehouse;• Responsible for maintaining accurate SAP entry, including finished goods weights and restriction status upon receipt;• Manage freight and logistics from the DC to the Seeds Supply, US Cotton''s strategic public warehouses. More specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:• Bachelor’s Degree with 4 to 5 years’ experience in related administrative or logistics positions;• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills;• Proficiencies include advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook;• Attention to detail and timeliness to meet deadlines;• Talented, assertive self-starter;• Ability to work with minimal supervision, manage administrative functions, and prioritize administrative activities;• A record of personal initiative and adaptability to change.
