Seeds Stew Manager Global Audits
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Seeds Stew Manager Global Audits, are to:
Participate in the development and management of the annual Global Stewardship Audit Program for approximately 175 internal locations and over 300 Third Parties including schedule, scope, auditor assignment, methods, templates and records:
a. Audits to be conducted at Bayer by Third Parties (Excellence Through Stewardship Audits, In-licensed traits);
b. Audits to be conducted by Bayer at External Third Parties (Contract Compliance Audits);
c. Audits to be conducted at internal BCS sites to ensure conformance to Bayer Stewardship Directive requirements;
Coordinate, train and manage resources required to facilitate the successful completion of the Global Seeds Stewardship Audit Program including auditees in Crop / Market Area, global stewardship representatives and outside vendors;
Develop, track, analyze and report metrics and measures derived from audits to identify trends and facilitate solutions for the continual improvement of the Seeds Stewardship Program including:
a. QHSE Key Requirements;
b. Product Stewardship Policy and Key Requirements;
c. Seeds Stewardship Program Objectives;
d. Audit Program Objectives;
e. Audit Program Findings / Results;
Participate in the global cross-functional audit community planning, communication and other activities to align and streamline audit activities and practices with other functions including Biosafety, Regulatory Compliance, QHSE,QMS, etc.;
Develop standards to support consistency in audits:
a. Prepare SOPs, WIs, checklists and other auditing tools to perform and coordinate audits. Research the latest technologies and implement tools that support
best practice practices and transparency;
Establish effective methods and track training for auditors, provide refresher training materials and evaluate and improve auditor competency;
Represent Bayer Seeds as Stewardship Representative to Industry Associations as appropriate (Excellence Through Stewardship, American Seed Trade Association, etc.);
Support the management and development of the process and methods for audit data tracking and reporting in the global TrackWise database.

Your success will be driven by your demonstration of our LIFE values. More specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
Five to nine years of auditing experience;
Lead auditor training (IRCA, ASQ or equivalent);
Experience working globally;
Advanced problem solving and analysis;
Stewardship or Excellence Through Stewardship experience;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Analytical and statistical (mathematical) skills;
Excellent PC and technology skills (SharePoint, Microsoft Access, etc.);
Ability to travel internationally (up to 40%);
Good interpersonal and motivational skills;
Ability to interface with and/or lead global teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in agriculture or sciences;

10 years experience in seeds and traits;
Knowledge of TrackWise global audit management software.
