Segment IT Administrator
The Segment IT Administrator will execute day-to-day configuration, reporting, training, support and maintenance for Salesforce.com and all installed applications, custom development and integrations. The goal of this role is to continuously improve the usefulness of the tool, optimize existing and new features, increase adoption, enhance data quality and provide training and guidance to local Salesforce.com administrators in the OPCOs who support the needs of end users in Sales, Marketing, and Customer Care. This role will also be support ongoing implementations and enhancements by participating in scoping, blueprinting, testing, and training as needed.Reports to the Segment IT Manager – Sales, Marketing & Customer Care. Works directly with local Salesforce.com administrators, Salesforce.com developers, and other internal/external stakeholders for the purpose of administering and training local administrators on enterprise applications which include Salesforce.com and all installed applications, custom development and integrations. Responsibilities include:Develop and maintain customized reports in Salesforce.com as well as development of dashboards for data analysis and KPIs through Salesforce.com. Manage data migration into Salesforce.com and integration with other systems such as SAP, Accolade, Tableau, and PROS. – 40%Manage functional day-to-day operations of Salesforce.com. Serve as a point of contact for local administrators which would include but not limited creating and customizing objects, workflows, record types, page layouts, fields (including advanced formulas and lookups), apps, tabs, roles and profiles, security, users, and approval processes. – 20%Stay current with new Salesforce.com releases, features and functionality while applying this knowledge to provide recommendations for process improvements that are aligned with and support the goals and objectives of the business unit. Participate in multiple technical projects or portions of projects simultainiously; collaborate with Salesforce.com vendors and consultants on advanced custom development projects.- 20%Train new and existing local adminstrators on how to use the application and promote user adoption; keep application administrators informed about system functionality and enhancements; create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, application configuration and help related materials for users as database applications are developed. – 15%Manage system security settings and audit against Bunge Limited's compliance policies.- 5% Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a relatable field required
Experience as an end user of Salesforce.com, similar CRM product, or relational database
Experience administering and configuring Salesforce.com application is a plus but not required
Experience serving in a front line support role for Salesforce.com users is a plus but not required
Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels of the organization to define problems and present solutions
Strong communication skills: verbal, written and presentation
Strong multi-tasking and troubleshooting skills.
